About us
The American Chamber of Commerce in Algeria (AmCham Algeria) is a non-profit, non-government organization which represents American and Algerian businesses and individuals.
The Chamber’s mission is to provide support to businesses, Algerian and American, in expanding their opportunities in each market through advocacy, information, networking and tailored services.
Its membership is primarily comprised of U.S. companies established in Algeria and of Algerian companies doing business with the U.S., U.S companies doing business in Algeria and companies from both countries that are looking for new opportunities.
Board of Directors
The American Chamber of Commerce in Algeria is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of the presidents of leading U.S. companies established in Algeria, Algerian companies doing business with the U.S., the AmCham Managing Director, and two honorary members representing the U.S. government in Algeria. Board members are elected by the membership of the Chamber at a general assembly.

Our mission
The American Chamber of Commerce in Algeria serves as the premier business organization for American companies operating in Algeria, promoting trade, investment, and business opportunities between the United States and Algeria, while providing valuable support and resources to our members.
AmCham’s Algeria main mission is to increase American-Algerian trade and investment, in addition to promoting American-Algerian partnerships through effective communication and media outreach.
